No, you don't need to bring anything specific to attend our Free Clothing Market. However, we recommend bringing reusable shopping bags if you have them to carry your selected items home. If you don't have bags, we'll provide them. If you can, you can also bring gently-used items to donate and/or exchange to help keep out inventory stocked. You may also want to bring a list of sizes for family members if you're selecting items for others who couldn't attend.

We host Free Clothing Markets seasonally, with major events in spring, summer, and fall. In 2025, we're expanding to host markets every 1-3 weeks across different locations in Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau County, and Suffolk County. Each market is organized with specific seasonal needs in mind, such as summer clothing, back-to-school items, or winter coats. Nothing goes to waste! Leftover clothing is stored for future markets. Items that can't be distributed due to condition are sent to textile recycling programs where they're transformed into insulation, cleaning cloths, or other useful products. Our commitment to zero waste ensures that every donation serves a purpose, whether directly clothing someone in need or being recycled into new materials.
